How we work

Four phases. Fixed scope, fixed fee.

Every engagement has a scope before a build, a named team before a deliverable, and a QA gate before anything ships. Build engagements are fixed scope, fixed fee, milestone billed in USD — no hourly. Care Plan, when bought, is a published monthly retainer with its own commitment terms.

The phases

Four phases. Length scales to scope.

Each phase has deliverables, a payment milestone, and a checkpoint. Engagement length scales to product — Venture Build runs ten to sixteen weeks; Team Build four to six; Component Build two to four; Starter Build two to three. The meter starts when the scope is signed and the deposit lands — not on our first call.

Pre-engagement

Discovery & Scope

Intake interviews. Current-state map. Bottleneck audit. Sector research. Scope agreed, signed agreement, deposit landed. The first Discovery call is free. From signed deposit we deliver the scoped proposal within seven days.

First third

Foundation

Brand book locked before anything is designed. AI team architecture — orchestrator, specialist roster, knowledge base scaffold. Entity, legal-ops and data governance set up where in scope. Tracked in parallel with weekly written updates.

Middle

Build

Specialist agents written and tested. Knowledge base populated. Operating Playbook drafted. Web, domain, email and integrations wired. Brand and comms assets produced. Every deliverable attributable to a named specialist and QA'd before it ships.

Final third

Launch & Handover

Go-live. Live handover session — recorded. Operating Playbook signed off. Thirty-day monitored operation, KPI baseline captured. Day 31: either we exit cleanly, or — if you've elected Care Plan — the monthly retainer takes over.

The disciplines on every engagement: business development, discovery & research, brand strategy, AI operating system architecture, visual design, film & motion, web & integrations, social & content, PR & media relations, copy & editorial, finance & contracts, legal-ops & data governance, client enablement, measurement & reporting, business strategy, and quality assurance. Additional specialists are scoped per engagement where the brief demands — operating capacity, sector specialists, photography direction, or others.

Standing rules

How we actually behave.

Contracts set the legal floor. These are the operating commitments we hold ourselves to on every engagement, regardless of what's written in any specific Scope of Work.

01 · Drafts, not sends.

No external message, email, filing, or commitment is sent on your behalf without your explicit approval of that specific piece. We draft. You read. You click send.

02 · Confidentiality by default.

Everything shared with us is confidential unless you tell us otherwise. No public case study, no social tag, no marketing mention without your signed permission.

03 · Build and hand over by default.

Our standard model is build-and-handover. We stand up the operation, hand over the running of it, and exit on day 31 — into Care Plan if you've bought it, or fully if you haven't. Operate-mode arrangements (for government departments, regulated institutions, or buyers without internal capacity) are scoped case-by-case and not part of the standard ladder.

04 · One accountable person.

Every engagement has a named Principal on our side — a real person with real accountability. Decisions and escalations route through that point of contact.

05 · Clear money.

Build engagements: fixed scope, fixed fee, milestone billed in USD. No hourly. No "we'll invoice the extras later" — work that fits the scope is done at no extra charge. Care Plan, when bought, is a published monthly retainer with its own commitment terms, separately documented and signed.

06 · Monthly checkpoint.

Once a month we deliver a written progress note — what was delivered, what's in progress, what's blocked, money-to-date versus plan, decisions pending. No surprises at the end of the month.

07 · Clean exit.

On a Build engagement, either side can call time at a phase boundary. On Care Plan, the standard twelve-month commitment and thirty-day notice apply. On exit from any engagement: full data handover, all access revoked, unearned fees returned. No hostage-taking, ever.

08 · If we get it wrong, we own it in writing.

If we make a mistake that costs you, we notify you before you discover it, own it without qualification, propose a remediation, and update our SOPs so it doesn't recur. Hiding mistakes is not one of the options.
